Highlights

North Bossier Road Closure

Starting on Monday, January 20th, the road closure on LA 160 in north Bossier Parish will go back into effect to allow the contractor to begin the removal and replacement of these two bridges, which were originally built in 1969.

The entire project is expected to be complete in Spring 2026.

Bossier School Superintendent Nationally Recognized

Just shy of a year since taking the oath of office, Bossier Schools Superintendent Jason Rowland has been selected as a 2024-25 Superintendent to Watch by the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA).

This annual award recognizes up to 25 district superintendents across the country with fewer than five years of experience who demonstrate dynamic, fast-paced leadership with strong communication at its core. A record number of nominations were received this year, making the selection process both highly competitive and humbling.
